I received a copy of Finding London, Book one of the Flawed Heart Series, in order to read Keeping London Book 2 of the series. This is my honest and fair review.
This book introduces us to recent college graduate London who is a rich snobby 22 yr old who is in no rush to get a job, since daddy still gives her an allowance. At a Charity car wash she meets Loic who is sitting in his massive truck caked with mud and wearing an Army uniform. What is it about a guy in uniform? When Loic barely pays any attention to London, she's pissed. I mean she's young and beautiful and has never had to deal with a man not wanting her! But fate or the universe have another thing in store for these two! They keep getting put together. First in a night club, then on a plane together!
Loic is a hot mess. And he's attempting to do the right thing and stay away from London. Man, why does she have to have that name! Growing up he was always told amazing stories by his father of his homeland, London England. It always sounded so magical and special, and after his parents die in a car crash, young Loic uses those stories to keep him going in the darkest of situations.
Can London convince Loic to open his heart to the possibility of love, even is he could lose it one day? Is Loic strong enough to attempt to have his very first relationship? And will he be any good at it?
I loved this story, because you truly have tow very flawed characters who still attempt to find love in this crazy world. I love how they are so different with each other, and how fast they fall in love. It's crazy how fate keeps pushing them together, even when Loic attempts to stay away from London. Life has a funny way of doing these same things. The characters were so believable and that anther reason to love this authors writing.
