The Seduction by Roxy Sloane

I got my hands on a free copy of this first story of the Seduction Series via Roxy Sloane's Web Site. I picked it up one night after reading a bunch of short stories. This is book one in a 5 book series (actually it's referred to as 4.5 books).

This first book is all about a man who is considered the Seducer. He gets paid to go out and have sex with women her purposefully seduces and then takes pictures. It's usually in regard to infidelity so that husbands can get out of Pre-Nups. Work is good and then he gets the job to seduce Keely Fawes a paralegal at a big law firm. Its a mysterious job, as the man who hired him is anonymous as is the reason he needs proof of Keely being seduced. Keely is a sweet young lady who is working hard with a dream of going back to school to be a lawyer. She is alone in the world and has the worst boss. Her boss demands that she do all this grunt work, and doesn't even like the clients he has, so often pawns the work off to Keely. However Keely loves working with the eccentric old man, who is dying.

This story has great character development with tons of twists and turns that continue in the next books. This story leaves you guessing on everyone's motives and who can you trust. This story has a highly sexual charged characters who are trying to learn about themselves because the persons they thought they were, are not who they truly want to be. The sex is supper hot, with a BDSM feel to it, that progresses through the other stories.

My recommendation is don't waste your time on buying these books one at a time, save yourself time and money and just buy the box set, you won't be sorry!

Unlawful Attraction Vol. 1: Alpha Billionaire Romance by M.S. Parker

First, again we have another short story, not a full novel. However I was expecting this because Ms. Parker is known for these types of stories. But this the only thing I knew before reading this book. After the first page I knew this book was unlike all the others.

First we have Dena, she is a character we've seen in the Club Prive books. Dena is quitting her job to take a job as and Assistant District Attorney. Her dream job. While she's looking at how her life is changing , how one door is closing and another is opening, she is definite feeling lonely.

We quickly learn that Dena is having a difficult time finding a man who meets her needs. See she's not a true sexual submissive, or a true female dominant, she actually a switch. Someone who likes to dominate men sometimes, and other times likes to be dominated. It's truly difficult for her to find someone like herself. We get to see her as a female dominate, which is smoking hot. But it doesn't completely satisfy her. 

We get to meet Arik, who is new to NYC and to Club Prive. He is also an Attorney but for the other guys, he's a defense attorney. We learn how unsatisfactory Dena's new job is and hoe frustrating her whole life is, in walks a very sexy Arik, to Leather and Lace , another NYC BDSM club. They hit it off instantly, you could almost feel the heat coming off the pages. But then your left wanting. 

This book has great character development and we really dive into this world, which we have had glimpses at from Ms. Parker's pervious books. I look forward to grabbing the rest of Dena and Arik's story and hope they can find a happy ending.

Demon~ Book 4 of The Hades Squad by Jianne Carlo

Demon is book 4 in The Hades Squad Series by Jianne Carlo. This book is a stand alone book or can be read in order. I personally think that the other books have to be read in order, but this book takes place on location, verses with the rest of the Hades Squad. We do get to see some of our favorites, but not till the very end of the book.
This story is Demon's story. While he finds his lady love and has a similar story of where he falls hard and fast and wants to make this young girl his, its different because there is such mystery as well as a suspenseful story of trying to remain safe and hidden. Which of course doesn't happen because that would be a boring book. However the leading lady is strong and can more then take care of herself, I just wish she didn't have to face such difficulties in her young life. But because of all she's been through and all she faces in this book, show more than deserves to find a man who will love and protect her.
I loved this book because you have a strong alpha man who is ex-SEAL, and while he gets into many tight situations, its actually Jacinta who is only 20 years old, a virgin and lived her life at a cloister convent who shows how strength and determination can perceiver.
The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars, is because I missed the dynamics of having the whole crew together. Having it just be Demon and Jacinta kind of felt like a dimension of the story was missing.

Devil~ Book 3 of The Hades Squad by Jianne Carlo

Devil is book 3 in The Hades Squad Series from Jianne Carlo. I loved this book. It was probably one of my favorites of the series. I loved the character development as well as the stead rhythm of the story.

We get to see Devil, like we have never seen him before as well as Jess, the best friend of the wife of Devils Friend, Sinner (Book 1). I loved that this book started off in a BDSM club, but these two really learn more about each other and their likes in dislikes in life (and the bedroom). It's not just about hot smoking sex, but that is there in full force in this book. But this book has such mystery that needs to be solved, with danger and discovery. I loved it!

Cowboys Not Included ~ Book 6 of The Boot Knockers Ranch~ By Em Petrova

The newest book from Em Petrova in the Boot Knockers Series is called Cowboy Not Included. In this book we have our favorite toy King, Booker , who is another sexy hot sex therapist cowboy who lives and works at the Ranch. Now meet Skye, Bookers Ex Wife! The other cowboys at the ranch had no idea that he was married once, not to mention he has a daughter named Findlee, who’s just a toddler.  Skye decides that after their horrible breakup she needed to get Booker to want to be a part of their daughter life. She makes this scheme where she can get a little escape from being a single mom and have a vacation with a hot cowboy and talk to her ex. She has no intention of getting close to Booker or letting him back into her life, just their daughters. These two are so wrong for each other, with Skye’s insecurities’ and Bookers moral code that they seem doomed from the start of the book. But you all know that old saying about “opposites attract” that’s so true here.

They spend several chapters trying to deny the chemistry between them. They admit that sex was never a problem before in their marriage, but they both are at a point in their lives that they don’t know what they are working towards, what goal they want next. When things get going they learn that they can be good just like they last were, but also that they both have changed. And with these changes, new sexy kinks come out and are explored. This hot steamy book left me looking for more of their story. Usually at the end we get a sense of how this couple will make out in the future, however this book, left several questions unanswered. Maybe that was a tactic used by Ms. Petrova to drag me back in when then next Boot Knocker Ranch books come out, when ever that might be.

So Please Ms. Petrova, please please please give us more sexy hot cowboys from the Boot Knockers Ranch, and give us little updates on all the other couple

Last night I was able to finish Rope Burn book 5 in the Boot Knocker Ranch Series by Em Petrova. I had been waiting for the Dom from Down Under to get his story and this book did not disappoint. Every time I grab one of these books I wish I was able to go to this Texas ranch where all the men are Sex Therapists. I have never read a cowboy series before this one, but I’m no understanding the fascination with these type of men. They are strong, and masculine and not afraid of hard work. Tabbart and Stowe come at each other from such different areas, but having a man truly know what a women needs is so hot!

These two main characters are well developed and draw you into their world. I love the idea of an Aussie Cowboy, who wields a whip and loves to dominate women. You have a strong independent woman who is so tired of always watching what she does and worries about how others will perceive her because of her fame. As a woman who controls so much in her life, I can understand the idea behind letting go, giving that control to someone else. This book did not disappoint.

While this is book 5 of the series, it is definitely a stand along book as well. I strongly encourage you to start at the beginning of this amazing series with Pushin’ Buttons. Now I’ve gotta go grab the next book in this amazing series , book 6 just game out not to long ago and is calling my name.

Ropin' Hearts ~ The Boot Knockers Ranch~ Book 4~ By Em Petrova

Ropin’ Hearts is the fourth book in the Boot Knockers Series by Em Petrova. This book continues the stories on the ranch with our sex therapist cowboys and the women who seek them out. However this book is a little different. Instead of paying to be at the ranch with a cowboy of her choice for the week, Bree actually sneaks onto the ranch property and attempts to act like she belongs there. She is young and happens to be the neighbor’s daughter.  She is looking for something, and thinks what she needs will be found on the Boot Knockers Ranch. But almost every time she sneaks under the fence Ty catches her. She gets very close to compromising position with one of the newer cowboys before Ty finds her. She is a disobedient little vixen who is very determined. While Ty and Bree are like oil and water, they seem to end of liking each other, and are completely drawn towards each other. There are so many bumps and turns on the road to these two getting together.

The characters are very well thought out and the story gives so much insight into the ranching world. From the first page you are drawn into the cowboy world. While this is the fourth book in the series it could easily be read as a standalone, but I would strongly encourage you to start from the beginning. These cowboys are smoking hot and worth every minute of your reading time

Book number 3 of the Boot Knockers Ranch Series was HOT! First you have character that we have meet in the first two books of the series. You have Paul, the new guy. Paul was a ranch hand turned boot knocker. Then you have Jack who is your rugged cowboy and best friends with Paul. Paul is not bi, or so he keeps saying. And then we have Lissy, who comes from California and knows her way around horses. When the new group of ladies arrive at the Ranch Jack has to have Lissy, even before she shows up on stage. It’s Paul’s week off, which is not a good thing for these cowboys. Lissy’s appetite for all things sexy isn’t enough for Jack to satisfy. The problem arises when she asks Jack if Paul would come to their bed. Paul doesn’t want to admit his feeling for his best friend Jack, but he also is super attracted to Lissy. Can this threesome make it work? Can they get past their own prejudices and emotions?

This is book 3 from the series, so we see some of our favorite Boot Knockers. We dive into the ranch and the work these cowboys do outside of the bungalows. This book is fast paced, with great character development and sexual tension. This threesome leaves you wanting more, only in the best possible way.

Last night I had finished my current read and decided to dive into a new story. I received a copy of the e-book yesterday and though the title sounded hot, so why not! This book is short, but so good. I wish it was longer, because within the first few pages I was so into the characters and story idea that I wanted more. Ever get a story where it’s just never long enough? This was one for me. By the title you can guess that the female lead Maya is seduced by her boyfriend Max and his best friend. She doesn’t want the thoughts and feelings she’s having about the best friend but hey he’s hot so who can help it. A Quiet evening hanging out quickly takes a turn for the taboo after the liquor comes out.  That’s when things take a fast turn into the forbidden. Super hot, super sexy ménage story that I  just wish was a full length novel. I could definitely see this being a full story, just need to add plot twist and turns to make it longer.

So if you interested in a fast sexy story, this is definitely the answer for you!

Body Language~ The Boot Knockers Ranch Book 2~ By Em Petrova

This is the second book in the Boot Knockers Ranch series by Em Petrova. This book was such a great and easy read. I dived right in after reading book 1 Pushin' Buttons. We have a hot cowboy, Damien who has a secret that we need to learn. Then we meet school teacher Ruthie, who comes the ranch to escape her idea of sex, and really get out of her own head. When you take two people who shouldn't be attracted to each other and put them into a situation where they are so hot for each other you have an amazing book.

I loved to see how this story progressed and developed, including seeing characters from Book 1.

I consumed this book in two nights, and ran on to the next book in the series. I wish the Boot Knockers Ranch was a real place I could visit.
