I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This story has a lot of people comparing it to Fifty Shades. And I can see why. You have a recent college grad, Krystina (Krys) who is still working at a local story called Wally's. In walks in multimillionaire, Alexander Stone. Stone is fascinated with Krys and wants to offer her a job, as well as benefits. Both Stone and Krys have past that prevent them from having a true relationship.  There are similar situations as fifty shades, but they are so different that you can obviously tell the stories are different. 

I loved the first book in the series, and can't wait for the remaining two books! I want to find out 

what happened in Stone's past, how Krys is going to handle her past problems, and if these two will find a way to make their relationship work. 

Really great story, with D/s and BDSM, but not as the main focus.

Serving the Target by Cherise Sinclair Masters of the Shadowland book 10

                                       

In book ten of the Masters of the Shadowland Series by Cherise Sinclair we get to finally read Domme Anne's story. In Srving the Target, we meet  a female dominate which is rare to meet in The Shadowlands, but we have meet Anne in previous books. We also have meet the Shadowlands Entry Guard, Ben.  This book lets us see how strong men, can be sexually submissive and while strong women can be dominate in the bedroom that it's okay to let a man be concerned and protective.

In this book we see that the Domme sadist Mistress we once knew may be changing. Her boy toy Joey and her, from previous books, are no longer a couple. Anne is a former Marine, former cop, and current bail bonds fugitive recovery agent. She teaches the other submissive a  personal safety defense training and helps out at the local women's shelter. She is a strong women in a mans world, but maybe things are changing for her. She is no longer enjoying inflicting pain on her subbies. She's no longer angry about how the world works with men treating her like she's fragile. 

In walks Ben whole she refers to as the guard dog. Ben I s a vet and has suffered psd. He has always said he was vanilla and nas never been inside the club to participate of watch the goings on. Until one night he pushes things a little to far with Domme Anne, spiking her interest and making her interested in a scene. The person they thought they were is challenged in this story, until they take several steps to really learn who they are now. Everyone goes through the change and Ben and Anne have gone through changes in this story. I loved this story because we get to see everyone else from the series, all the other dogs and their submissives. It's such an great story, even though it's hard for me to relate to the idea of a Domme. While I love the whole series, this book could be a stand alone, but I highly recommend the whole series. Can't wait for the next book in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beneath the Vine by Lillian Bryant aka A.M. Johnson

     

                                   

In the amazing story, Beneath the Vine by A.M. Johnson written as Lillian Bryant, you get a threesome unlike any you have ever read. This story features cello player Giovanna Selene Cavalier is playing at Bennett Monterosso's winery shop grand opening. The same night they meet, Bennett's once best friend, Gace Calibri shows up again after five year absence. These two men have shared women in the past and both have their eyes set on Selene. Mean while both men are not who they say or appear to be. This is a ménage novel with BDSM but that's about it. The idea of this book with one friends becoming corrupted, and the other trying his best to save his friend, while both fall for the same girl. It's a crazy amazing story with such an amazing twist that will make you fall out of your seat!

Definitely a must read! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Billionaires Sub by M.S. Parker

This story is a stand alone novel. It's rare for M.S. Parker to give us one single story without a cliffhanger, but this is it! This story was great! You have a young girl Hanna Breckenridge, who decides to leave her life she knew with family, and move to California to work for her sister's catering company as their business manager. This book has twists and turns. Like the fact someone is trying to hurt her sister, or the fact that her sister is a dominant within the BDSM community. One night at an event Hanna is left to handle the event because her sister ha gotten into a little car trouble. When mysterious billionaire Cross Philips propositions her. Hanna thinks he is giving her a job, but he mistakes Hanna for her sister. We have billionaires with BDSM lifestyle include the young Neil girl and some dramatic suspense and you have a great story. 

Quick read, with suspense, enveloped characters and hot sex!

The Seduction by Roxy Sloane

I got my hands on a free copy of this first story of the Seduction Series via Roxy Sloane's Web Site. I picked it up one night after reading a bunch of short stories. This is book one in a 5 book series (actually it's referred to as 4.5 books).

This first book is all about a man who is considered the Seducer. He gets paid to go out and have sex with women her purposefully seduces and then takes pictures. It's usually in regard to infidelity so that husbands can get out of Pre-Nups. Work is good and then he gets the job to seduce Keely Fawes a paralegal at a big law firm. Its a mysterious job, as the man who hired him is anonymous as is the reason he needs proof of Keely being seduced. Keely is a sweet young lady who is working hard with a dream of going back to school to be a lawyer. She is alone in the world and has the worst boss. Her boss demands that she do all this grunt work, and doesn't even like the clients he has, so often pawns the work off to Keely. However Keely loves working with the eccentric old man, who is dying.

This story has great character development with tons of twists and turns that continue in the next books. This story leaves you guessing on everyone's motives and who can you trust. This story has a highly sexual charged characters who are trying to learn about themselves because the persons they thought they were, are not who they truly want to be. The sex is supper hot, with a BDSM feel to it, that progresses through the other stories.

My recommendation is don't waste your time on buying these books one at a time, save yourself time and money and just buy the box set, you won't be sorry!

Temptation by K. M. Scott Book 1 in the Club X Series

This is the first book in the Club X Series by K. M. Scott.

Temptation is a story about a young girl, Olivia, who is out of work and in desperate need of a job. She has worked before as a regional sales manager at a sports apparel company only to get fired after five years due to downsizing and the economy. So much for having a degree, after six months of searching she's desperate, That's when a friend of hers Jake recommends her for a job at the all exclusive Club X. Its a club she's never heard of but then again she isn't much into the club scene. But beggars cant be choosers so she takes an interview with Cassian March who is the face of this super exclusive Miami Club.

Cassian along with his two brothers are running is exclusive club where your wildest fantasies can be made true. If you are a member of the club you can have your fantasies played out for you, no fantasy being too big for this club to cater too.

Olivia agrees to be Cassian's personal assistant and help him run the day to day dealing with the club. She is kind of naïve about the legality of the club and what it really does up on the higher levels behind closed doors. Along with working at the club, she gets a membership to the club and can take part in the fantasy rooms. She gets tired of her friends always referring to her as safe and wants to break out of her own shell. She reserves a fantasy room to explore herself. In doing so Cassian finds out and determines no one but him is going to have anything to do with Olivia's fantasies. Even though fraternization is strictly enforced. He just can't help himself, there's something about Olivia that has had Cassian hard since the moment she walked  for her interview.

While these two play in the fantasy rooms and assume the other has no idea of their growing desires for one another there is a suspenseful understory of this club getting found out for what it really is and causing the whole thing to go up in smoke.

There is definitely a suspenseful story here along with this amazing club and these two characters who sizzle on the pages of this novel.

Can't wait to pick up the next story in this amazing series to see what's happening in the club as well as the brothers.

A Dom is Forever, Book 3 in the Masters and Mercenaries series by Lexi Blake

Last night I stayed up late to finish reading A Dom is Forever, Book 3 in the Masters and Mercenaries series by Lexi Blake.
This book is about Avery and Liam. Liam O'Donnell is a former SAS and IRA rom Ireland who became a part of Ian Taggerty's team at McKay & Taggerty Security Firm about five years ago after a terrible mission went horribly wrong resulting in his brothers death.

Avery Charles is 28 yr old personal assistant to philanthropist millionaire, who up to three years ago was an agoraphobic who lived in NY. Our book has Avery in London working on getting a huge shipment of food sent to an African nation as a humanitarian aide.  Avery's life has been racked with horrible pain and terrible loss. She lost her parents when she was a child, then her aunt took all of her inheritance. Avery married at 18 and had a baby shortly after, only to lose both of them to a terrible car accident where she was driving. It took almost 8 years before Avery could regain the use of her legs. She has terrible scars and still has issues with her legs, but she's trying to live a life that moves past tragedy. She has big self esteem issues and that causes major issues between her and Liam.

This book is a continuation within the series, while I think it could easily be read alone it does help to have prior knowledge on some of the main players. this book definitely is fast paced and emotional with tons of twists and turn that will shock you. The character development is definitely spot on. However my biggest issue is this book was very similar as the last two books. You have an alpha man who is put into a position where he has to find out if the women is telling the truth or if they are apart of a terrible situation. Trying to determine if the women are involved or not, leads the men to lie to the women about who they really are. And each time the women find out, flip out, and then so easily forgive the men! That I just don't understand. A man lies to me, I'm not so sure I'd forgive them in less than 24 hrs.' no matter who tells me the truth. How can you really believe anything after such lies? I wish the women heroines were stronger and told the men to go f*ck themselves.

Also this is supposed to be a BDSM novel, and there are very little features to BDSM, it is more vanilla then the others novels in the series. While Liam and Avery seems very realistic characters and definitely draw you into the series, this one isn't my favorite.

The Men with the Golden Cuffs (Masters and Mercenaries Book 2)~ Lexi Blake

Lexi Blake does it again! In Book 2 of her Masters and Mercenaries Book series we are introduced to Jake and Adam, who are partners at the McKay and Taggart Security Firm. Both are Ex Special Forces. Both are sexy alpha Dom's who love to have ménages. At the start of the book we are introduced to Serena, who is a erotic romance e-novel author. She has come to the McKay & Taggart Security Firm on the urgency of her Publisher because she is being stalked and need protection from this nut job. As soon as Adam and Jake see her they are goners. Serena is in young, divorced women who lives with her dog. She had a terrible relationship with her now ex husband who divorced her because of the books she wanted to write and who is now suing her for money because of said books. She's pretty popular author among the BDSM & Ménage Book lovers.

The character development is once again amazingly done. This book is so realistic with its character and the emotions they are going through that you cant help but fall in love with them. While we have to hot alpha men wanting to dominate one women, we also have the romantic suspense story of who is stalking her and why, plus all these other little parts that make up one hugely amazing story.  

I highly recommend this amazing romantic suspense filled novel!

The Dom Who Loved Me, Masters and Mercenaries, Book 1 (Masters & Mercenaries) By Lexi Blake

I got the first three books in a book bundle for $.99! This was my first book by author Lexi Blake, and I'm quit made that I hadn't  found her before now!

First this book is the first in a series that currently has 10 books. This is not your typical book either! This book features Sean Taggart who is part of a security team that his brother runs. Most of the men are ex-special forces and pure sex on a stick. If your looking for strong alpha dominant men this is the book series for you. Sean is assigned to get close to Personal Assistant Grace Hawthorne. Sean needs to get close to Grace to learn if she is helping Matt's brother and being part of a eco-terrorist group. Grace is a 40 yr old mother of two grown sons. She lost her husband to a car accident and when she had to go back to work, know one would hire her except her boss Matt. Grace has such a lonely life, but she loves her work and is a very loyal employee.  Mean while Grace has been reading these romance novels, that make her want things. She reads BDSM novels, and she realizes that's a relationship she would be happy to explore, but doesn't believe anyone wants her. When she meets Sean her urges are sparked back to life, however her head can't wrap around the fact that Sean is in his 30s and she's 40 yrs old. She can't imagine anyone looking at her as a sexy women. Then when she learns Sean's a Dom and wants her as his Sub all things. Meanwhile we have a terrorist with the CIA looking for information and wanting to accuse poor innocent Grace of helping the bad guy.

Not only do you have amazing character development with an unusual love story you also have this romantic suspense story of trying to figure out who people are, are they telling the truth or are they really the bad guy. This is a fast pace, dark and suspenseful novel that includes a smoking hot Dom who introduce a brave, strong and independent older women to the life style.

Definitely give this book five stars! Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Sinfully Mine ~ Kendall Ryan

"Sinfully Mine" by Kendall Ryan, is a stand alone book, but I think should be read after "The Gentleman Mentor". We get to pick up almost where that book ends. We have Macey, who is Hale's younger sister and then Hales best friend and BDSM club owner Reece. These two had a relationship back when Macey was younger, but nothing relay happened because Reece was older, and attempting to be the gentleman, and send his best friends little sister off to college without having a true romantic relationship. Now it's six years later, and Macey is back home in Chicago and looking for a good f*ck. She's surprised to learn that her first love owns and runs a BDSM club.

Once again Reece is thrown into the past and his emotions for Macey come flying at him. While he still wants to respect Macey and his friendship with Hale, he is floored by his feelings for this women. He had a hard time letting her go, and doesn't think he can do it again. When Macey asks him to teach her about BDSM he is flabbergasted. After talking to Hale, who said not just no, but Hell No!, he goes ahead and agrees to four lessons with the beautifully stubborn Macey.

The character development is well done, the dialogue is great because they fight each other without realizing they are fighting themselves. The sex is hot, but doesn't take up the whole book. There is actually a story here about these two people and what they have both been through.

This was my 2nd Kendall Ryan book, and I'm hooked on her writing style.

The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

If you guys have never read this amazing story, you have to pick it up! And right now is the prefect time, because the E-book is on sale for $.99! That's only 99 penny's to read this truly amazing story.

The story features a sexy alpha type who is a dominate who loves teaching to women interested in learning more about BDSM but truly more about themselves. This is not a nasty book that degrades women, in fact its the exact opposite. This book has amazing characters who have things in their past preventing them from truly being happy, but together they find a way to move past all of that.

This is the first book I have read from Kendall Ryan, but her writing style was so easy to read. I love a great book that sucks me in with the plot and character development. I am now a huge Kendall Ryan fan, and have every intention of binge reading every book she's ever written!

Last night I was able to finish Rope Burn book 5 in the Boot Knocker Ranch Series by Em Petrova. I had been waiting for the Dom from Down Under to get his story and this book did not disappoint. Every time I grab one of these books I wish I was able to go to this Texas ranch where all the men are Sex Therapists. I have never read a cowboy series before this one, but I’m no understanding the fascination with these type of men. They are strong, and masculine and not afraid of hard work. Tabbart and Stowe come at each other from such different areas, but having a man truly know what a women needs is so hot!

These two main characters are well developed and draw you into their world. I love the idea of an Aussie Cowboy, who wields a whip and loves to dominate women. You have a strong independent woman who is so tired of always watching what she does and worries about how others will perceive her because of her fame. As a woman who controls so much in her life, I can understand the idea behind letting go, giving that control to someone else. This book did not disappoint.

While this is book 5 of the series, it is definitely a stand along book as well. I strongly encourage you to start at the beginning of this amazing series with Pushin’ Buttons. Now I’ve gotta go grab the next book in this amazing series , book 6 just game out not to long ago and is calling my name.
