I was excited to read Easy Virtue and its follow up Sweetest Venom by Mia Asher. Honestly this book started very slowly for me. I was lost and trying to find the themes that were coming through. Give it a chance though because after the first 10 chapters you really start to see who the main character Blaire is. She is a young women who is so afraid of love that she becomes a gold digger, believing that the only thing that's important is money. This terribly neglected girl found her feet and left home as soon as she turned 18, and never looked back. One night she meets Lawrence, a multi millionaire in NYC. The same night she meets Ronan a poor photographer from Brooklyn. So the book forms this weird triangle but so much of the book was more about Blaire and who she really wanted to be.
The story continues in Sweetest Venom.
