I received a copy of Battler in exchange for my honest review.
When I first started this book, I was shocked to learn that the characters were all 17 and Seniors in High School. The language and dialogue in this novel. The main character Riletta is a huge smart ass, who uses her words to get herself in trouble. Within the first two chapters she ends up in jail, and a very unfair position that shows how horrible life truly can be to some. The Wolfe brothers are her goal to get her out of the hell she's in due to her ex-boyfriend. She just needs to hold things together for this year and then she'll be free of her horrible Father and Mother and this horrible life she has.
I loved this book! I was so surprised and how Riletta uses her words as daggers to shield herself from the emotional pain that he parents put her through. She is such a misunderstood young women, that I wish I could rescue. The least you want is for her to learn the truth and find someone who will truly love he for her.
This is a cliffhanger! I got to the end, and pretty much yelled at the book/author.

OMG?!?!?!
Now I have to wait for the second book! But I loved it, and will definitely pick up the next book in the series.
