I received an arc of Addiction in exchange for my honest review.

This is the first book by Shantel Tessier and I'm now a fan for life! This is the first book in the series. It is a dark romantic suspense novel. That is a true fill length novel! I love stories that are longer than 250 pages, and this book definitely is! This story begins with two men Case and Brecken who both own and operate a night club in Chicago. This is Case's story. Case is a scared individual who is working in a seedy business, helping you get what you need to feed your addiction, weather it be drugs, alcohol or sexy, Case can help you. We meet Taylor, a senior in college living with her best friend and her brother. Things seem good, life isn't easy but she's making the most of in, until she learns her brother is working for Case, a notorious bad guy. She is so upset, she meets and basically rips into Case for hiring her brother. But nothing is as it seems. Case has no clue that Blaine had a sister, much less lived with her and his gorlfriend. He knows he needs to protect Taylor at all costs, but how to convince her of that without sharing who and what he really is? This is a amazing fast paced story with characters you just are routing to get their shit together! I fell for all these characters introduced in this first book, and can only hope there are a lot more to come! Seven deadly sins= seven books? We can only hope!

I take another step closer to her, closing what little space there was left between us. Uncrossing
my arms, I reach out and grab a handful of her brown hair and yank her head back, “What the
...?” She cries out wide­eyed.
I lower my head down to hers and her eyes search my face. The smell of something sweet hits
my nose and I inhale sharply. Her eyes wide and breathing heavy. What will he do to me? Is
what is running through her mind right now. “Do you want me to attack you like the man
downstairs did, or are you gonna point it at me?” I demand keeping my voice even. How stupid
she was to let me see her up to her apartment. She’s too trusting. All I had to do was mention
Tiffany and she forgot everything else. Even her own safety. This woman needs me.
She gasps and her green eyes harden as her nostrils flare. “Let go of me.” She growls, trying to
pull her hair free of my fist. I take a quick look at the gun, she still has it pointed away from me.
It’s not gonna happen. She’s only gonna hurt herself.
“Make me.” I say with a smirk. Let’s see what she has to work with. Let me see how well she
can fight her way out of a life or death situation. Because I have a feeling that her friend didn’t
have a chance. But then again not many women do. The ones who do, are just pure lucky.
She lets out of huff and then lifts her knee. I let go of her hair and I fall to the floor like a boulder
falling off a cliff. Bent over and unable to breathe I feel as if I am about to puke on her living
room floor.
She kneed me in the balls.

I received an arc of Obsesssion in exchange for my honest review.

Obsession is the second book in the Seven Deadly Sins Series. This story is a dark, romantic suspense type of novel. And it's a true full length story that you will be able to enjoy for more than a day! I love books that are longer and more envolved! In this book we have Bracken, a exstramy successful club owner in Chicago who will help with any obsession you might have, weather it's drugs, or sex, they're club actors to all types of sin. He is a ruff man, who is definitely a alpha type man. He meets Skye one night when she confronts him in the alleys behind the club. Shays is desperate for help finding her BF Tiffany. She's been missing for less than 24 hours and the police won't do anything. Some how Skye convinces Bracken to let her look at the clubs security tapes. Bracken is struck by Skye and wants to help her, no needs to help he. He can't describe why buy he wants to protect her, when every time Skye turns around she is putting herself into danger in dear to get answers about her friend. This is a very fast paced story. It enclaves many dark and dangerous areas of the underworld in Chicago. This story is a romantic suspense with dark romantic aloha tendencies. We shouldn't love Bracken and the man he is, but we can't help but love him! Super hot and sexy story tha I just simply loved, and couldn't get enough of! I strong,y r commend you read Addiction, book 1 in this series first, in order to get the full impact of this amazing story!
