A vampire novel like no other! This is not the first series I've read by the amazing Tina Folsom. I caught this book during a free trial from an only seller. Grabbed it an devoured it! The character development was amazing. We get to see so much into this amazing world. We get to see into a secret world, with this fast paced amazing suspenseful story.
We meet Samson, a vampire and owner of Scanguards which are security guards or body guards. He hasn't been able to get it up in almost 9 months! It's his birthday and his friends attempt to surprise him with a stripper, but he can't be surprised. In walks a mortal forensic accountant Delilah. She's from NYC but is in San Francisco to work on a case where they company believes their is a theft.
One late night walking back to her condo she senses she is being followed, she attempts to run when the man attaches her. She goes to the only house in the row with lights on. She barges into the arms of Samson who thinks she's the stripper her friends ordered. And to his immense surprise he gets hard for her! Things take a ton of twist and turns from lies and deceit to attempted murder, not to mention that little secret about Vampires being real. This all makes for an amazing story that I cant wait to continue in the next volumes.
