The story features a sexy alpha type who is a dominate who loves teaching to women interested in learning more about BDSM but truly more about themselves. This is not a nasty book that degrades women, in fact its the exact opposite. This book has amazing characters who have things in their past preventing them from truly being happy, but together they find a way to move past all of that.

This is the first book I have read from Kendall Ryan, but her writing style was so easy to read. I love a great book that sucks me in with the plot and character development. I am now a huge Kendall Ryan fan, and have every intention of binge reading every book she's ever written!

New author!

So I'm always looking for new author's. Especially an author who has several books, or even better a series of book's that I haven't read. So just before Christmas I started a three book collection and struggled to read it. It was very painful, causing me to fall asleep reading each night. So after three days I decided to give up and took a recommendation via Instagram for Kendall Ryan's book The Gentleman Mentor. I Loved It! I'll post a review tomorrow, but was so busy reading this great book that I picked up the next one. I'm so excited to find this author, because he writing style is so smooth, and easy to get you sucked in. Plus she has about 8-9 books! So I'm in heaven 😇🤓 

You know how some people talk about binge watching television series on Netflix? Well I like to binge read book series. I love getting invested in the books and the characters. Some of my favorite series are The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward, the Dark Series by Christine Feehan and The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. While these series are all considered supernatural, or paranormal romance the all have a ton of books within their series to suck you in and keep you in their world for weeks. So any time I find a new author with books that suck me in, I'm a goner. 

It's my version of heaven 😉.

Just wanted to take a quick moment away from the real world to stop by my blog and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope that Santa brought you everything you wished for! This time of year its very hard for me to get into the Christmas Spirit. I wish I could find the joy of this season, but it seems to be elusive this year. I hope where ever you may be that you find time in your day to find something to smile about. For me it was the faces of my children while opening their gifts this morning. Even thought this year won't feel like Christmas I'm going to do my best to find a little joy in each moment.

     This book had me with one idea of what would transpire, but once I started reading, WOW! It took such a drastic turn. I thought that we were reading about Amara and her boyfriend Colin's life, but then we learn Amara had agreed to be Philip's five years ago in order to get her father out of his gambling debt. Meanwhile Amara's mother is dying of cancer. Amara might be young and come off very naïve but in fact she is attempting to do the only thing she can to protect her family. In the beginning you think that maybe Philip will start an unlikely relationship with her, but there is soooo much more involved! So many twist and turns that it’s hard to keep up with. This story is very dark, fast paced. However this book does have a few hot sex scenes, it is not all about the sex. The story is so large, that you don't need all those sex scenes like you have in other books. I would definitely recommend this two book series to someone who wants to read a mysterious fast pace book series that sucks you in and has you attempting to figure out what's gonna happen next!

Cowboys Not Included ~ Book 6 of The Boot Knockers Ranch~ By Em Petrova

The newest book from Em Petrova in the Boot Knockers Series is called Cowboy Not Included. In this book we have our favorite toy King, Booker , who is another sexy hot sex therapist cowboy who lives and works at the Ranch. Now meet Skye, Bookers Ex Wife! The other cowboys at the ranch had no idea that he was married once, not to mention he has a daughter named Findlee, who’s just a toddler.  Skye decides that after their horrible breakup she needed to get Booker to want to be a part of their daughter life. She makes this scheme where she can get a little escape from being a single mom and have a vacation with a hot cowboy and talk to her ex. She has no intention of getting close to Booker or letting him back into her life, just their daughters. These two are so wrong for each other, with Skye’s insecurities’ and Bookers moral code that they seem doomed from the start of the book. But you all know that old saying about “opposites attract” that’s so true here.

They spend several chapters trying to deny the chemistry between them. They admit that sex was never a problem before in their marriage, but they both are at a point in their lives that they don’t know what they are working towards, what goal they want next. When things get going they learn that they can be good just like they last were, but also that they both have changed. And with these changes, new sexy kinks come out and are explored. This hot steamy book left me looking for more of their story. Usually at the end we get a sense of how this couple will make out in the future, however this book, left several questions unanswered. Maybe that was a tactic used by Ms. Petrova to drag me back in when then next Boot Knocker Ranch books come out, when ever that might be.

So Please Ms. Petrova, please please please give us more sexy hot cowboys from the Boot Knockers Ranch, and give us little updates on all the other couple

Last night I was able to finish Rope Burn book 5 in the Boot Knocker Ranch Series by Em Petrova. I had been waiting for the Dom from Down Under to get his story and this book did not disappoint. Every time I grab one of these books I wish I was able to go to this Texas ranch where all the men are Sex Therapists. I have never read a cowboy series before this one, but I’m no understanding the fascination with these type of men. They are strong, and masculine and not afraid of hard work. Tabbart and Stowe come at each other from such different areas, but having a man truly know what a women needs is so hot!

These two main characters are well developed and draw you into their world. I love the idea of an Aussie Cowboy, who wields a whip and loves to dominate women. You have a strong independent woman who is so tired of always watching what she does and worries about how others will perceive her because of her fame. As a woman who controls so much in her life, I can understand the idea behind letting go, giving that control to someone else. This book did not disappoint.

While this is book 5 of the series, it is definitely a stand along book as well. I strongly encourage you to start at the beginning of this amazing series with Pushin’ Buttons. Now I’ve gotta go grab the next book in this amazing series , book 6 just game out not to long ago and is calling my name.

Ropin' Hearts ~ The Boot Knockers Ranch~ Book 4~ By Em Petrova

Ropin’ Hearts is the fourth book in the Boot Knockers Series by Em Petrova. This book continues the stories on the ranch with our sex therapist cowboys and the women who seek them out. However this book is a little different. Instead of paying to be at the ranch with a cowboy of her choice for the week, Bree actually sneaks onto the ranch property and attempts to act like she belongs there. She is young and happens to be the neighbor’s daughter.  She is looking for something, and thinks what she needs will be found on the Boot Knockers Ranch. But almost every time she sneaks under the fence Ty catches her. She gets very close to compromising position with one of the newer cowboys before Ty finds her. She is a disobedient little vixen who is very determined. While Ty and Bree are like oil and water, they seem to end of liking each other, and are completely drawn towards each other. There are so many bumps and turns on the road to these two getting together.

The characters are very well thought out and the story gives so much insight into the ranching world. From the first page you are drawn into the cowboy world. While this is the fourth book in the series it could easily be read as a standalone, but I would strongly encourage you to start from the beginning. These cowboys are smoking hot and worth every minute of your reading time

Book number 3 of the Boot Knockers Ranch Series was HOT! First you have character that we have meet in the first two books of the series. You have Paul, the new guy. Paul was a ranch hand turned boot knocker. Then you have Jack who is your rugged cowboy and best friends with Paul. Paul is not bi, or so he keeps saying. And then we have Lissy, who comes from California and knows her way around horses. When the new group of ladies arrive at the Ranch Jack has to have Lissy, even before she shows up on stage. It’s Paul’s week off, which is not a good thing for these cowboys. Lissy’s appetite for all things sexy isn’t enough for Jack to satisfy. The problem arises when she asks Jack if Paul would come to their bed. Paul doesn’t want to admit his feeling for his best friend Jack, but he also is super attracted to Lissy. Can this threesome make it work? Can they get past their own prejudices and emotions?

This is book 3 from the series, so we see some of our favorite Boot Knockers. We dive into the ranch and the work these cowboys do outside of the bungalows. This book is fast paced, with great character development and sexual tension. This threesome leaves you wanting more, only in the best possible way.

Last night I had finished my current read and decided to dive into a new story. I received a copy of the e-book yesterday and though the title sounded hot, so why not! This book is short, but so good. I wish it was longer, because within the first few pages I was so into the characters and story idea that I wanted more. Ever get a story where it’s just never long enough? This was one for me. By the title you can guess that the female lead Maya is seduced by her boyfriend Max and his best friend. She doesn’t want the thoughts and feelings she’s having about the best friend but hey he’s hot so who can help it. A Quiet evening hanging out quickly takes a turn for the taboo after the liquor comes out.  That’s when things take a fast turn into the forbidden. Super hot, super sexy ménage story that I  just wish was a full length novel. I could definitely see this being a full story, just need to add plot twist and turns to make it longer.

So if you interested in a fast sexy story, this is definitely the answer for you!

Body Language~ The Boot Knockers Ranch Book 2~ By Em Petrova

This is the second book in the Boot Knockers Ranch series by Em Petrova. This book was such a great and easy read. I dived right in after reading book 1 Pushin' Buttons. We have a hot cowboy, Damien who has a secret that we need to learn. Then we meet school teacher Ruthie, who comes the ranch to escape her idea of sex, and really get out of her own head. When you take two people who shouldn't be attracted to each other and put them into a situation where they are so hot for each other you have an amazing book.

I loved to see how this story progressed and developed, including seeing characters from Book 1.

I consumed this book in two nights, and ran on to the next book in the series. I wish the Boot Knockers Ranch was a real place I could visit.

Pushin' Buttons The Boot Knockers Ranch Series Book 1~ By Em Petrova

Pushin' Buttons by Em Pertova is the first in The Boot Knockers Ranch Series. This book has three main characters and is about the boss at the Boot Knockers , another cowboy, and a lovely lady. Sybill, lives in NYC but is not finding a fulfilling sexual life for herself. She's never had the big "O". She decided to spend a small fortune and vacation for a week at the Book Knockers Ranch in Texas. The boss man, Hugh is suppose to be having his week off, but once he sees Sybill on stage he can't resist, she has to be his cowboy for the week. A side story is there where we learn many of the cowboys on the ranch are bi, including Hugh who has been banking Riggs whenever the mood strikes him. Feelings that none of them expected begin to be explored in this sexy hot book. Come along for a sexual exploration with Hugh, Sybill and Riggs.
I devoured this book in 4 hours! I had to continue on with the next book in the series because of the writing. The story line was well developed with the characters devolvement spot on. I hope to continue to see Hugh, Riggs and Sybill in the rest of the stories on Boot Knockers Ranch.

I strongly recommend this book if you looking for a hot book, with sexy cowboys, and a sexually frustrated women. After reading it you just might want to take a little trip to this ranch.

Seriously, as a mom to four kiddos my life is crazy enough, but you add in work, sports, extra curricular, going to school for my Masters' and a hubby who works all the time and you'll find me.
A over crazed, supper tired, always running mom who loves to read.

Every night I secretly can't wait till it's bed time. Once the little ones are tucked in and fast a sleep, I grab my best friend, my iPad, and cuddle up in bed with the latest book I'm reading.
I favor romance, but hay what gal doesn't? So I like reading Romance novels, Paranormal Romance, Romantic Thrillers and suspense, as well as Erotic Novels.


Basically anything to get me out of my own head. It's so nice to take a break from reality and slip into another world where the men are hot and the sex is hotter!
